Program Description
The Community Education Center is partnering with an environmental conservation nonprofit, Headwaters Charitable Trust, to develop a new project called Living Greener. This holistically centered life skills training program is designed to connect 18-24 year olds who are experiencing barriers to adult transition with jobs that support a green economy. Living Greener empowers individuals to grow in their personal and professional lives. We are committed to giving individuals the skills needed to engage in the employment, enjoyment, and ecology of the region.
How Can You Help?
Living Greener needs you! We rely on our dedicated volunteers to help run this program. We are always looking for Occupational Skills Mentors and Life Skills Trainers to work with our participants.

- A total of 24 hours of life skills training classes
- An assigned Occupational Skills Mentor with weekly check-ins
- Referrals to additional wrap-around supportive services as needed
