Facilitator for the workshop is Bob Zaruta, President of NWIRC. Zaruta joined NWIRC in 2016 after serving for sixteen years with the Northeastern Pennsylvania Industrial Resource Center (NEPIRC).He has developed, implemented, and managed a national program providing sales training and licensed sales methodology to Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) locations and their clients across the country. In addition to his MEP experience, Zaruta has held leadership and management positions within Fortune 500, regional and small enterprises. As an entrepreneur, he founded and led a startup telecommunications company to dynamic growth. He has a B.S. Degree in Business Administration from King’s College, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, along with relevant industry training and certifications including Lean Specialist, Innovation Engineering Management System, Solution Selling, and Project Management from Penn State.

ISO 9001:2015 Internal Audit
This workshop is designed to introduce participant the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, the auditing process, audit instruments and the documentation process. Participants will learn how to conduct an audit, write the audit report, and take corrective action. Using a combination of lecture, discussion and auditing case studies participants will develop skills for identifying non-conformance and promoting continual improvement within their service or manufacturing organizations.
Upon completion of this 3-day course, participants will have the ability to more effectively:

He has spent the majority of his career assisting leaders in improving organizational performance and maximizing human resources. Kevin has consulted organizations in manufacturing, healthcare, nonprofit, and educational sectors. He holds a degree in Business Management and Business Finance from Mercyhurst College.

Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing
Design and manufacturing professionals, production operators, and quality technicians will gain skill in the interpretation and application of geometric controls. Emphasis will be on interpreting and measuring geometric tolerances, and selecting and applying the proper geometric controls to satisfy design requirements.
At completion of this course, the learners will be able to:

Jerry has held positions in training and education, operations management and quality engineering, spending most of his career at LORD Corporation.
